I have seen firsthand just how frustrating it is for local businesses here in Bismarck/Mandan to hire new employees. People who actually need and want to work. It really is quite amazing to me when not too long ago, there was a struggle to find a job. Now, interviews are set up, and the owners or managers are lucky if any of the hopeful applicants show up. The government is taking care of those out of work, and making it even easier for those that are not in any hurry at all to rejoin the workforce.

Wallethub has come up with their list of 2021's Best & Worst States For Jobs. Here is how they did it :

"They compared the 50 states across 35 key indicators of job-market strength, opportunity and a healthy economy. Our data set ranges from employment growth to median annual income to average commute time."

With the economy getting better and picking up steam (559,000 jobs in May), North Dakota had some very promising numbers when it came to some positive things, such as in the Best State For Jobs category - ND came in at # 6 (South Dakota was number one). - Job Satisfaction North Dakota scored three out of the 50 states.

Wallethub "compared the 50 states across 35 key indicators of job-market strength, opportunity and a healthy economy. Our data set ranges from employment growth to median annual income to average commute time."  So now we just need to somehow inspire others that your "Dream Job" could be out there with just some effort and willingness on your part.
