A body was discovered by two hikers in the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park late Wednesday afternoon, May 18th.

According to KX News, the body has been transported to Bismarck, where an autopsy will be performed. The body has not yet been identified.

Multiple agencies responded to the discovery of the body, including the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

While the incident remains under investigation, authorities have stated that their is no danger to the public.
