Heaven On A Pontoon In Bismarck.

What a perfect Saturday we had for 96-5 The Fox's FOX RIVER ROCK PONTOON! A two-week contest where listeners entered through our FREE 965thefox APP! Cassandra was chosen in a random drawing, and along with her husband Reece, Michelle, and Shanell, we all met up at The Pier Bar & Grill for pre-pontoon fun. How convenient that our River Party would continue so close to the restaurant - Mark Liebersbach our captain for the scheduled two-hour journey was waiting for us along with Sam, his co-pontooner :) Docked nice and neat, all of us climbed aboard the pristine 150 horse honda motor-powered pontoon. Off we went, drifting through the Missouri river waters, taking some time to explore the incredible scenery of Lakewood. Talk about relaxing, breathing in the fresh air, and gazing at the primitive sandbar natives, we had a blast!

A HUGE thank you to the man that made it possible, he's an easy-going kickback kind of guy that has one goal in mind - TO SEE PEOPLE HAPPY! His name is Shawn Volk, a married man with two boys. He's been in the Power Sports biz since 2006. I met him last week, doing some adjustments to a pontoon that was being delivered the next day - Shawn is a fellow you instantly like, telling me that he is doing what he has always wanted to do. Shawn was not with us last Saturday, one of his sons enjoyed a birthday, but he will be with us in July and August ( dates to be determined ).
