Apparently, some folks in Minnesota may need to go back to school and take an anatomy class.

A bike trail in Hastings, MN, was closed over the weekend because someone thought they had found a human hand, according to the Hastings Star Gazette.

Officers were called in to set up a perimeter around the hand. It wasn't until the medical examiner showed up that all involved discovered that what they were all looking at wasn't a hand at all...

It was a bear paw.

Now, instead of trying to explain why a human hand was found on a rural bike trail, officers are tasked with figuring out why a bear paw was found on a rural bike trail.

If we're being honest, though, that won't be the strangest thing ever found along a rural bike trail.
