Just a few weeks after announcing he was leaving over a role disagreement, guard Carlin Dupree will rejoin the North Dakota State men's basketball team.

According to InForum, Dupree will rejoin the team under a few conditions, one of which may involve the junior not playing again this season.

Head coach Dave Richman released a statement through the athletic department, stating that a decision regarding Dupree's status will come 'down the road:'

This was not a decision that was taken lightly. Carlin will come back to the team with some adjusted expectations.

Dupree also released a statement regarding his rejoining the Bison men's basketball team:

I made a selfish decision that hurt the people closest to me and I hope those people can forgive me for that ungrateful moment. I want to finish out my college career as a Bison and give my all to this program for the next year and a half.

Dupree averaged 7.1 points for the Bison so far this season.

The Bison men's basketball team is off until Sunday, January 31st, when they'll head to Indiana to take on IUPUI.
