Chick-fil-A, the 'home of the original chicken sandwich,' is bringing a location to Grand Forks in the not-too-distant future.

The Grand Forks location, which is being planned near the Columbia Mall, would be the first Chick-fil-A location in North Dakota.

According to InForum, a proposed driveway for the new Chick-fil-A location was included in a memo written before the Planning and Zoning Commision's meeting on Wednesday, September 7th.

Founded in 1946, Chick-fil-A operates more than 2,000 restaurants in the United States, most of which are located in the southeast, according to Wikipedia.

With Grand Forks getting their own Chick-fil-A location, could that mean a Bismarck location isn't far behind?
