The Governor has always been a casual dresser, but on Wednesday (Feb.15th) the Senate's sergeant at arms asked the Governor to step off the Senate floor for wearing jeans, where jeans are not allowed, which is part of the legislative dress code.

The Governor was taking a picture with visiting students when he was asked to leave the floor. There was no confrontation or scene, the sergeant at arms was just doing his job and following the dress code of the Senate floor.
