This morning, I was looking for some interesting North Dakota news, and I came across a story of smuggling in North Dakota. Apparently, someone was caught at the North Dakota/ Canada Border. Can you guess what the culprit (or culprits) was attempting to smuggle? Hint: it was not drugs.

According to Valley News Live (FARGO), "U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents seized nearly $200,000 worth of counterfeit video games in northwest North Dakota." The searching officers found the game in a rail container at the port of entry in Portal, North Dakota. Get the full story from Valley News Live here.

I have to admit, I laughed when I read the story. I did not know that smuggling counterfeit video games was a thing. I mean, if I think about it, I really only hear of things like drugs, weapons, and people being smuggled. So, I had to find out what other things have been (or at least attempted) smuggled into our state.
