Houston Astros Cameron Maybin stole second base in the top of the 11th inning in Game 2 of the World Series and thanks to that, free tacos for everyone!

Last week, Taco Bell announced their ‘Steal a Base, Steal a Taco’ World Series promotion would occur, which means that "if a player steals a base in Game 1 or 2 of the World Series, you can claim a free Doritos Locos Taco from Taco Bell on November 1st from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m."

Cameron Maybin, who came in as a defensive replacement to play center field in the 10th inning, singled to lead off the top of the 11th. Maybin then stepped up to make everyone's night. With a 1-0 count on Astros hitter, George Springer, the speedy Maybin took off for second on the very next pitch. Springer took the pitch for a ball, and Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal's throw down to second was low and too late, and the celebration was on! Free tacos for everyone!

Oh, and by the way, Springer hit a two-run home run to right center just two pitches later to put the Astros up 7-5. Houston would go on to win, 7-6, and tie the World Series, 1-1, as it heads to Houston on Friday night.

Thank you for being our 'Taco Hero,' Cameron Maybin!

And don't forget, If a player steals a base in Game 3, you can claim a free Doritos Locos Taco on November 7th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m at your local Taco Bell.
