Fox Future Classic: Pop Evil “Trenches”

Just because 96.5 The Fox is a classic rock station doesn't mean we don't recognize awesome rock songs when we hear them. So, keep an eye on 965TheFox.com for features on songs that we think could be Fox Future Classics.

The first song to get the Fox Future Classic treatment is "Trenches" from Grand Rapids, Michigan-based band Pop Evil. Being from Michigan, I've spent a lot of time with these guys and I'm always excited to hear how they're progressing musically, especially with the changes they've gone through since their last album was released. "Trenches" was released earlier today and I can honestly say it's one of the best Pop Evil songs I think I've heard. The guitars rip, the songwriting is on point, and vocalist Leigh Kakaty has carved himself a place amongst the great frontmen in rock today.
