If you are on any Facebook "rants and raves" pages, you know that posts can get brutal. There is one Fargo Facebook "parking rant" group that featured a controversial post. When one poster called out a person for keeping a messy car, commenters came to the defense of the car's owner.

According to Valley News Live (Fargo), a recent post in the "Fargo Can't Park" Facebook group caused Trisha Lake to create a GoFundMe page for a person in need. The Facebook post featured a picture of a car that was filled with stuff, and was captioned "good grief." Lake, and others, were disturbed by this particularly negative post.

Valley News Live reports that commenters replied to the post, saying that the car's owner was a homeless veteran, and that the person could use help instead of criticism. So, Lake made a GoFundMe page, with a goal to raise $7,800 for the man! Get the full details about the act of kindness from Valley News Live here.

According to the GoFundMe page that Trisha Lake set up, she wants to gift the man enough money to pay rent for the year. Lake, a Fargo business owner, started off the page with a personal donation of $100.

At the time this was written, the GoFundMe page had received 41 donations, totalling $1,515, within a day of the account going live. The GoFundMe page also mentions that, if the man is not found, the money will still go to help someone in need. Get all the details about this act of kindness on the GoFundMe page.
