Michelle Tait

Michelle Tait is an active community member with the belief that if you can help, then you should.

Many of you many know she has dedicated her life to helping people. She coordinated the Toys for Tots pro- gram in our community, worked for the Abused Adult Resource Center and now The God’s Child Project. Not to mention the countless friends she is there for whenever “the call” may come in where they need her help.

What some of you may not know is the struggles she has been through in the past year. Between the flooding of her home, her son Rob’s medical expenses from his severe asthma and some personal setbacks, Michelle is the one who needs our help now.

Please come to the benefit and help support this outstanding member of our community who has done so much to help so many people.

Sonny Schmidt

Sonny Schmidt’s struggles began last Feb when he lost his beautiful young wife from complications due to a stroke.

Sonny began having seizures on Nov 21st. Within two weeks he had experienced 70 seizures, 4 of which were grand mal.

As a result of this, he spent an extended period of time in Minnesota so the seizures could be monitored. He is now on medication to prevent the seizures from occurring however his medical team is still unaware of the cause.

Sonny has been without work since the seizures began. Thanks to his gracious employers, Midwest Motor Express who held a job for him, he has just begun working part time again.

Sonny is still undergoing extensive physical therapy due to the brain trauma from the seizures. Please join in in helping Sonny get back on his feet.
