Karen is a Mandan native who has had complications resulting in out-of-state treatment at Mayo in Rochester, MN. Although unable to officially diagnose her illness, she is being treated for Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome. Karen still awaits results from genetic testing.
Her current treatment runs $23,000 bimonthly. This is just the beginning of the costs for medication not including dialysis. Help support Karen in her fight to get better!
