Dog Accidently Shoots His Owner In The Leg

Well, the dog did it! This a real story and on some level, it's sort of funny.

A Fort Dodge, IA man was shot in his upper leg by his dog. This is how it happened. Richard Remme was playing with his dog Wednesday when the dog, somehow, accidently pulled the trigger on his gun and shot a bullet into his leg.

According to the Messenger, Remme carries his 9mm handgun in a belly band under his clothes. The lab-mix pup hopped on him and during this motion, somehow unlocked the safety and somehow, managed to press the trigger of the handgun. BOOM!

Remme wasn't severely injured and was taken to the hospital for internal bleeding and the dog is doing dandy!
