Growing up in North Dakota you're pretty much born with purple running through your veins with no question about being a Vikings fan...you just know you are!  I stayed true to my Vikes for years and years...that is, until I moved down to Jackson, MS where you find that in the south the priority list is as follows...college football, church, food...in that order.  It took me going to 1 LSU/Ole Miss game and I was hooked from that moment on.  Yes i am a Tigers fan but I love the Bison equally as much.  There's just something about College ball that you don't get from Pro.  The guys on the field aren't getting paid to take hit after hit night after night or practice for hours on end. Their there because of their love of the game...plain and simple. I find it hard to watch pro football anymore when you have idiots like T.O. or Chad Johnson that complain about their million dollar contracts and then half ass it on game day.  The true role models to me are the guys who spend all night studying for an exam and show up at 6am for practice the next day with a smile on their face, determination in their eyes and strength in their heart. That is a true athlete to me!
