Fargo-founded vocal group The Blenders recently posted their cover of 'The Best of Times' to their YouTube channel and one former member of the band that recorded the original took note.

According to InForum, former Styx lead singer Dennis DeYoung took to Facebook to praise The Blenders' rendition of the song he helped make famous:

Unfortunately, DeYoung had the name of the band wrong. He corrected himself the next day, though:

DeYoung also sent a message directly to The Blenders, letting them know how much he liked their arrangement of the song:

Now based in Minneapolis, The Blenders have toured the country for over 25 years, appearing alongside such acts as Jay Leno, Howie Mandel, Chicago, and Chuck Berry.

You can find The Blenders' version of the Styx classic 'The Best of Times' on their new album, entitled '25'.
