Coffee Shop Lets Customers Pay with Kisses [VIDEO]

We've all been there...You go to pay for that cup of coffee you just ordered and you don't have enough. In this situation, you have a few options: 1.) You could put it on your card 2.) You could ask your fellow patrons for money OR 3.) If you're at a certain French cafe in Sydney, Australia...you could pay with a kiss.

According to Consumerist.com, a cafe in Sydney will let you pay for your cup of coffee with a simple kiss and, no, you don't have to kiss the barista. You can actually just kiss your significant other to pay. This deal is only available, though, between 9am and 11am every day throughout the month of June.

While this is, obviously, a great way to save money, it weirds me out just a bit. I'm not one for PDA, so I definitely don't want to walk into any business and see two people tongue-wrestling to pay their tab. More importantly, how creepy is it that these baristas have to stand their and watch you make-out with your significant other for a cup of coffee. It's like a sex offender's dream come true! Oh, and don't try faking it...because they'll know, according to one barista.

Luckily, this idea hasn't made it to the United States yet but I'm sure it can't be too far away. I just hope that I don't frequent a place in which this is allowed. Kisses as currency just doesn't fly with me.
