If you were offered a job and they paid you in beer, would you take it?

Well, that's what Amsterdam is doing to help keep their streets clean.

According to MSN.com, they're now offering alcoholics $13, a half pack of rolling tobacco, and five beers a day to clean the streets of their fair city.

The goal, obviously, isn't to get the alcoholics to stop drinking. They are paying them in beer, after all. The goal is basically to just keep them preoccupied with a task, as opposed to living their lives drunkenly fighting in the parks and yelling obscenities at women, which has become a bit of an issue for the city.

The Rainbow Foundation, which is the group behind the project, is funded by the state and donations. So, just think, your tax money and donations would go to buy beer for alcoholics. But, your streets would stay clean, wouldn't they?

What do you think about that??
