Here's a nice touch for underprivileged children.

This program starts Friday, November 2nd wherein you can donate your unwanted bicycles and toys by dropping them off at the Go-Mini storage bin in the south Dan's supermarket parking lot. The way this program goes, inmates at Bismarck's correctional facility repair the items and get them ready for low-income families to shop for at the Salvation Army Joy shop.

The days for the Salvation Army Joy shop are December 17th 18th and 19th.

There's also another way to help out, you can mail your check to the Bismarck Tribune PO Box 5516 Bismarck, ND 58506.

It can be so gratifying to donate to the underprivileged for the holidays mainly because there is a real need and it's the true spirit of Christmas.

Remembering the less fortunate is something that should go hand in hand with the holiday season every year.

If you would like to participate in the Christmas Playpen Program you can get more info here.
