Century Patriots Begin 2013 Ranked #5 in the State

Our high school football previews continue this week with a team that's hoping to ascend to the top of the state rankings: Century High.

Century finished 2012 with a 9-3 record and a #3 ranking in the state, just a few spots behind #1 Bismarck High. Coach Ron Wingenbach's team returns three offensive starters and six defensive starters from last year's squad, though the team does lose their starting QB, along with their top RB and WR from last year.

Century's toughest task will come the seventh week of the season, when they take on #1 ranked Bismarck High. Century begins their season this Friday at Fargo Davies.
