Carson Wentz Shines at North Dakota State’s Pro Day [VIDEO]
North Dakota State's 2016 Pro Day was bigger and better than ever, but that may have had something to do with the quarterback who was set to take the field.
Wentz threw 65 passes during his workout, with 63 of them being caught. The two incomplete passes? One was overthrown, while the other was dropped.
One team that had representatives on hand, including their head coach, was the Cleveland Browns, who have the second overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Many expect the Browns to consider taking Wentz with that pick, though the team did sign former Rookie of the Year Robert Griffin III earlier in the day.
Wentz addressed the media after his Pro Day performance:
Wentz wasn't the only one to participate in NDSU's Pro Day, though. Ten former Bison players put their skills on display, including Luke Albers, Andrew Bonnet, Jordan Champion, Christian Dudzik, Joe Haeg, Jeremy Kelly, Ben LeCompte, CJ Smith, and Zach Vraa.
The 2016 NFL Draft takes place April 28th-30th at the Auditorium Theatre, located in Chicago.
