Thanks in part to his 301-yard passing performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday (9/25), Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has been named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for the second time in his young career.

According to NBCPhiladelphia.com, Wentz beat out Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, Cleveland Browns defensive back Briean Boddy-Calhoun, and his Philadelphia Eagles teammate Wendell Smallwood for the award.

It's just the latest in a list of awards that already includes a Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week award, which Wentz won following his week one performance against the Browns.

He's also been named the NFC's Offensive Player of the Week for his week three performance against the Steelers and the NFC's Offensive Rookie of the Month for the month of September.

Wentz and the Eagles are enjoying their bye week this week. They'll get back to work next week, as they prepare to travel to Detroit to face the Lions at Ford Field.
