It may not be big news to people who live in a larger town, but if you live in a smaller community having your only gas station/cafe re-open is pretty exciting!

For residents of Carson, in Grant County, having their cafe and gas station re-open after being closed for months is a much needed convenience that they are happy to have back.

The not yet named cafe is being operated by the Pete and Val Reis family, mostly out of a commitment to their community. Read more from the Bismarck Tribune Here.

Being from the neighboring town of Elgin, I travel to that area often and it is such an amazing convenience to he able to fill gas and grab some good food on the go! With the upcoming summer and fall hunting seasons I know that may out of town customers will also appreciate the convenience.

The family will open the cafe  six days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday brunch. The cafe will also offer German meals, with cheese buttons on Friday and knephle and kraut on Wednesdays. YUM!
