There was a time not long ago that the 11th Annual Rods & Rock Car Show in Carson, North Dakota was in jeopardy of being canceled  - The COVID-19 had just demolished so many events in its horrific path, but not this one - Thank goodness that's the attitude that Andy Stewart had while organizing this whole amazing event. This beautiful day ( last Saturday ) had it all - pleasant weather in the high 80's, light breezes floating in and out, and families with huge smiles on their faces. You can thank Dan Stewart for everything the Rods & Rock show bring - food, live DJ's, local groups out and about, Flasher High School brought their "A" game - the girls from the Bulldogs basketball team along with their coach Heidi Alt -  There they were selling some excellent homemade cooking.

Some of the other stars of this event, of course, the amazing breathtaking gorgeous cars. Cory Glaser brought some of his "Camaros of North Dakota" group members out along with their rides. Imagine this if you can, 10 acres of grass on a wide-open field filled with immaculate, authentic sparkling vehicles. Then you mix in a crowd-pleasing Burnout contest and to try and top that off, you offer up $25,000 if someone can hit a hole-in-one. I was there along with our 96-5 The Fox's yellow bumblebee FJ and wow what an awesome afternoon. The town of Carson is so charming, and it's so relaxing watching locals and visitors enjoying each other's company. All proceeds donated to Roosevelt Public School. Thank you Dan Stewart, Andy, Gretchen, and so many others that teamed up to deliver a wonderful day! Textbook labor of love.
