Blizzard For The Record Books, Makes me Remember When…

Like many of you out there, I found myself staring out the window this past Sunday wondering if it would ever end? It took me back to days when I was a child living on our farm in Elgin....Picture this, the late 70's - early 80's...

and it seemed like we got snow dumped on us every week....which usually involved my Dad packing us up and heading into town to stay with Grandma until the weather got better . Sometimes that involved weeks staying in town, which I didn't mind since we did not have to do chores! We broke all records for snow fall and my kids will never remember this storm but it definitely took me down memory lane.
