Bismarck Schools To Start After Labor Day

It has been a heated discussion for some time now, and after a 4-1 vote the Bismarck Public School Board has decided to start school after Labor Day, beginning in the 2014-15 school year.

This of course means school will not begin until September and Graduation will be moved back into June. Which means students will have more time to enjoy the warm August temperatures. Curious to see if other school districts will follow suit.
