Bismarck Resident Wins Stein Hoisting Contest at German Days [VIDEO]

Four minutes and forty-six seconds. That's how long Bismarck's Steve Santini was able to hold a stein full of beer out in front of him to secure the 2015 Stein Hoisting Championship!

Santini was one of 14 contestants to participate in the event at the first ever German Days in downtown Bismarck.

The contest is quite simple: take a stein, fill it with beer, and hold it out in front of you for as long as you can. If your arm drops, if you arch your back to keep it up, if you do anything outside of hold it out straight in front of you, you're eliminated.
