This weekend is the kickoff of the summer season and with kids getting out of school very soon parents are always looking for fun, creative summer activities. A great suggestion for summer fun is the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Library.

Starting in June the library has tons to offer for kids from infant to preschool and up.

Let's get our kids excited about reading this summer- the library has  story times for infants, toddlers and preschool. Sign your kids up for the summer reading program that begins June 12th and kids will be eligible to win prizes.

Also coming up this summer is an ice cream social, Urban Harvest story times, summer book club, razzle dazzle read-a-thon, color me healthy event and puppet shows which will be held at the Dakota Zoo.

Tuesday's from 1:30-3:30 the library will be showing movies and for children finishing grades K-3, Miss Sparkle day camps!
