Bismarck -Mandan: The Winner of the Best Beef Jerky is....

A week ago I asked you, the people of Bismarck-Mandan who makes the best beef Jerky and you responded in overwhelming fashion... Here's the winner:

With 61% of the vote, 3BE Meats was the clear winner. 3 BE Meats is Located at 1700 East Main avenue in Bismarck and is owned by Tony and Mack with the name of the company coming from Tony's Children and Mack's child. Not only did the poll show them the clear winner but there were also Facebook posts, and a good amount of random people I spoke to around town singing their praises . Not to mention the callers into my show during the afternoon (2-7 on 96.5 The Fox ).

Coming in second of course is the legendary Butcher Block in Mandan and I will give an honorable mention though to West Dakota Meats who I mistakenly left off the poll due to being new in town and unaware of their presence.

One of the great things I've noticed about these polls are the passion that exists in local homegrown business.

I now look forward to to visiting you all to get some Jerky!
