Police responded to Bismarck High School today (9/27) after it was placed on lockdown around 1pm.

According to the Bismarck Police Department, a male subject who did not want to be admitted into a hospital fled from his family and medical staff.

As the man ran, he ended up entering Bismarck High School through one door and then quickly exited through another door at a different location in the building.

The man continued running away from the school before Police found him a short time later. The man was eventually reunited with family members.

The man was not wanted by police, was not arrested, and was not charged with a crime.

There was no mention as to the reason why family and medical staff wanted to admit the man into the hospital. There were also no indication that the man posed a threat to the school or anyone else in the community.
