This great event benefitting the iCan Bike Camp is only a couple of weeks away!

The Cool thing about Bikers is that there is a sense of community and brotherhood within the group that likes to ride together. This is a perfect example of this. The event is called Bikers for Bikers and it's happening on March 23rd at Hit Inc. in Mandan. This is a great opportunity to support an organization that helps people with disabilities ride bikes. Here’s the official word from facebook

The Our Place Motorcycle Club (OPMC) and Designer Genes of ND are “riding tandem” to raise funds for the iCan Bike Camp which will be held in Bismarck in the summer of 2019. We hope that we can encourage you to help us out with this amazing opportunity for individuals who want to learn how to ride a two-wheel bike without training wheels. Over the past 4 years, Bikers 4 Bikers has raised $17,600 to make sure bike riders with disabilities have this opportunity.
Four bike camps have been held in the Bismarck area and 96 individuals have learned how to ride a two-wheel bike. iCan Bike is a nationally franchised program that uses specialized bikes and coaching to assist individuals (most who have disabilities) to balance and successfully ride. Riding a bike opens up many avenues to individuals with disabilities to engage with their families, their friends, and get around their community. The camp is designed for individuals 8 years old and older. Bismarck’s oldest camper was 47 at the time he learned to ride!
We hope that you’ll consider being a sponsor for the 5th Annual Bikers 4 Bikers Fundraising event on Saturday, March 23th. Family fun, lunch (free will donation), games, bake sale, and a silent auction will be held at HIT, Inc. at 2640 Sunset Dr., Mandan from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. All sponsorships and funds raised through this event will go towards the cost of the bike camp which costs around $12,000 to hold.
Designer Genes will be promoting Random Acts of Kindness on March 21st, which is World Down Syndrome Day and we hope that you will consider your donation or attendance as an act of kindness. All Sponsorships and donations will be advertised at the event.
Want to ride with us?

Looking forward to this and seeing all the biker- regulars there as well.
