The amazing world of technology. Who would have thought ten years ago, that there would be virtually a camera pointing at you every place you go? Some may find it completely intrusive, while you're out there pumping gas, shopping, out in the parking lots, on the side of buildings, a lens capturing your every move. I actually find it comforting, a safety net if you will. I know of several people who have a security system set up on their doorstep. We all have seen videos on social media of idiots stealing packages that were delivered just seconds prior. Takes just a second for a moron to scramble onto your porch and vanish - a security camera will help freeze-frame their sloppy act of cheap crime, and Bismarck or Mandan police can take it from there. Over the holidays, we had our share of crime. Wouldn't you think that a petty punk thief would take into consideration the possibility of being filmed?

Wouldn't you think that a delivery driver, whose job it is to make his or her rounds all day long, would definitely be aware of their actions on-site? An unbelievable shocking video has captured a UPS driver attempting to deliver a package. According to nbcnews.com -  A UPS driver went on a racist rant while delivering a package to a Latino household in Milwaukee several days before Christmas Day.  The Video caught by the home's doorbell camera on the evening of Dec. 17 shows a white man wearing a UPS uniform, standing on a porch while holding a package and writing what appears to be a "failed to deliver" notice. “Now you don’t get f------ nothing...You can’t read and write and speak the f------ English language," the UPS driver is seen saying as he pastes the notice in the home's door. A young Latino police officer lives in the house.

Obviously, this charming fellow was immediately fired. The sad thing about this, of course, is that one piece of garbage can taint the reputation of a well-respected company.  Matthew O’Connor, senior manager of media relations at UPS had this to say "There is no place in any community for racism, bigotry or hate. This is very serious and we promptly took action, terminating the driver’s employment. UPS is wholeheartedly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion,”
