If you're a baseball fan, four of the greatest words you can ever here are "Pitchers and catchers report"...because that means the baseball season is right around the corner. Spring training is officially underway!

Spring training kicks off this week for Major League Baseball players, with many teams welcoming new faces to their clubs. Big names switching teams this offseason included Josh Hamilton joining the Angels, Zack Greinke signing with the Dodgers, and the Upton brothers headed to Atlanta.

Because I'm so excited about the upcoming season...Here's some early predictions on division winners:

AL East: Toronto Blue Jays. They added R.A. Dickey and basically ever decent player the Miami Marlins had. A healthy Jose Batista will make this team very scary.

AL Central: Detroit Tigers. Yes, they're my hometown team and I'd probably predict them to win no matter what...But it's tough to deny a team that has arguably the best pitcher and two of the best hitters in the game.

AL West: LA Angels. Truthfully, I expected the Angels to do a lot better last year so I'm a little nervous picking them to win the division this season. However, having Trout, Trumbo, Pujols AND Hamilton anchoring your lineup should make you tough to beat.

NL East: Atlanta Braves. Chipper Jones may be gone but the Braves upgraded their outfield tremendously adding both BJ and Justin Upton. I don't want to say the Nationals were a fluke last season but I just don't see them repeating.

NL Central: Cincinnati Reds. This is going to be a very tough division with the Cardinals, Pirates, and Brewers all going after the top spot. This division will go down to the wire.

NL West: LA Dodgers. The San Francisco Giants are the defending World Series champions but the Dodgers went out and spend some money to make their team competitive again. I think the Dodgers will surprise a lot of folks.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how well I did with my picks as the season progresses. For now, let's just all get excited that baseball's back!
