Spring? It is still a dream?  The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for counties in the region and more snow is expected.

The counties in the advisory area include Williams-Mountrail-McKenzie-Dunn-Mercer-Oliver-McLean-Golden Valley-Billings-Stark-Morton-Burleigh-Kidder-Stutsman-
Slope-Hettinger-Grant-Bowman-Adams-Sioux-Emmons-Logan-La Moure-McIntosh and Dickey.

This area includes the cities of Williston, New Town, Stanley, Parshall,
Watford City, Beulah, Hazen, Center, Garrison, Washburn, Underwood, Medora, Dickinson, Mandan, Bismarck, Steele, Jamestown, Carson, New Leipzig, Bowman,
Hettinger, Fort Yates, Solen, Linton, and Ellendale

The Winter Weather Advisory are in effect from  1 AM CDT /MIDNIGHT MDT
Sunday through 1 AM CDT /MIDNIGHT MDT/ MONDAY.

Sunday, you can expect a very narrow band of snow with moderate to heavy at times,  Accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with localized amounts up to 6
inches expected. In the Bismarck-Mandan area, we can expect 2-4 inches.

This system will effect the Monday morning commute, travelers should stay weather ready and possible hazardous travel conditions due to slippery roads and reduced visibilities at times.

We may slide from winter into summer and no spring season for 2018.
