Let's face it...Airplanes aren't the most comfortable thing in the world to have to sit on. No matter the size of the person next to you, you feel like they're sitting right on top of you. One airline, however, thinks larger customers should have to pay more...and now they're charging them that way!

Samoa Air will now charge $1 for every 2.2 pounds of person and/or luggage for shorter flights and up to $4.16 for every 2.2 pounds for longer flights. Oh, and don't think you can just lie about your weight when you buy your tickets...Because you'll also be weighed at the airport!

This may be a good thing for those folks out there who don't enjoy a burger from time-to-time but for those people who may be a little overweight...this could get a little pricey. Plus, adding on the luggage cost won't make it much better.

What do you think? Is this a good way for airlines to do business? Would you book a flight through an airline if this was how they charged passengers?
