With people flocking to Minneapolis area for Super Bowl Weekend, you might think it'd be impossible to find somewhere to stay, but that's not entirely accurate.

If you're looking for a hotel in Minneapolis during this weekend, then you might think it's impossible to find anywhere to stay for a reasonable price. After all, the average hotel room around the city is going for roughly just under $800 per night.

As of January 19th, some that are well outside of Minneapolis were going for about $500 per night while at the time, there was also one room available downtown for $1500 per night.

For an Airbnb, if you search enough, you can find decent prices. That's not to say that you won't find plenty of inflated prices, but some are reasonable, given it's Super Bowl Weekend.

I will be in Minneapolis this weekend and honestly, I thought I was the luckiest person ever. Somehow, I was able to find a pretty decent place in St. Paul for just under $90 per night. I did not book the place until January 23rd. Today, rooms were relatively reasonably priced, all things considered.

However, there are several Airbnbs that are doing some price gouging this weekend. If you clicked on the hyperlink in the last sentence, you notice one going for $5000 per night over the weekend and then dropping back to its original rate of $75 per night on February 6th.

The deals are out there. Maybe you have to do a little hunting for them, but they're there. If you're wanting to put together a last minute trip to Minneapolis together during Super Bowl Weekend, hopefully, you'll find me and we'll make a party happen somewhere.
