William Hoehn got an acquittal on conspiracy charges Friday in the murder of Savannah LaFontaine Greywind.

He's not going anywhere, however. before the trial he pleaded guilty to kidnapping and lying to police. Sentencing is forthcoming.

According to MyNDNow, the jury handed down an acquittal on the charge of "double-A felony conspiracy to commit murder." The crime took place at a Fargo apartment in August of 2017.

The 33-year-old defendant's girlfriend Brooke Crews, who testified during the trial, is already serving a life sentence without possibility of parole for her part in the grisly killing. She entered a guilty plea in February.

Prior to the trial William Hoehn pleaded guilty to two other crimes: felony kidnapping and misdemeanor lying to investigators.

He has not yet been sentenced, as the judge opted to wait until the conclusion of the trial.

The date of sentencing has yet to be announced.
