When you think of rock stars, what's the first thing that comes to mind? The Stones, Led Zeppelin maybe? Do you immediately hear a song in your head? A classic guitar riff? Sometimes people right away think of someone as huge as Steven Tyler rocking on stage. I know what it is, the hair - rock bands from the '80s that had personalities with huge hairstyles - "Big hair bands" they were called - Bon Jovi, Motley Crue - Rock stars.

Yesterday, a different kind of "Rock Star" was seen in Fargo, a man with unusual hair, a crowd favorite, a guy that takes center stage - in a kitchen! Guy Fieri - an icon with a skillet. This superstar chef was with a film crew from the Food Network, visiting several restaurants in the Fargo, Moorhead area. He was seen interviewing diners and unlike some HUGE celebrities with big hair and enormous egos to match, he couldn't have been more open, friendly, and approachable. The Food Network and his social media team haven't released any info on just why he was visiting. The buzz is that several local restaurants could be featured on his tv show  "Diners Drive-Ins and Dives.". A "rock-star" like vehicle was spotted in downtown Fargo, a sharp 1967 Camaro SS convertible, which caught the attention of a local television reporter. Fieri's charm poured out even more as he explained that the car 'was just a prop". So a refreshing day for Fargo, a real-life celebrity with a down-home personality.
