A Man in Germany Snuck Out of the Hospital For A Beer

I haven't had to go to the hospital since I was a small child so I'm not exactly sure how I'd handle it. One thing's for sure, though...I'd definitely miss beer. A man in Germany had a similar problem.

A 94-year old man snuck out of his Munich hospital room a few days ago, just to score a birthday beer. Everything was going great until he was spotted at a subway station. It turns out it's incredibly difficult to hide those damn intravenous needles. Instead of taking the man to a bar, the authorities returned him to the hospital. Thankfully, though, the doctors understood the man's problem and offered him a beer in his hospital room. Maybe a beer a day does, in fact, keep the doctor away?
