We've all heard nightmare stories of what happens behind the scenes in restaurants, coffee shops, or any kind of place that serves customers. We also try and put that out of our heads when we are out and about, trusting others not to taint our food. Sadly though, there are people that act out all their anger, hatred, racism in a cowardly fashion. Last Friday an Illinois State Trooper stopped by a local Dunkin Donuts to grab a cup of coffee- while taking the lid off to cool down it down a bit, he noticed something that shouldn't be there. A large thick wad of something disgusting was floating sickly towards the edge, after confirming that the mystery mucus was indeed spat. A Dunkin employee Vincent J. Sessler, 25 was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, reckless conduct, and battery to a peace officer. A Dunking spokesperson had this to say "The type of behavior reported to us is inconsistent with the brand's values, Dunkin' has a deep appreciation for police officers who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe, and the franchise owner has reached out directly to the officer to apologize for the experience".

What prompts someone to do something that stupid? Why when a police officer is spotted just trying to grab a quick cup of coffee, WHY does that make him or her a target? I'm trying to put myself into a mindset of a moron for a minute, is that act of sheer stupidity, and lack of integrity worth it? That State Trooper is not only someone who patrols the streets, highways trying to keep people safe, but they are human - doing what they can to make it through this crazy year. This person who may have a beef with law enforcement hasn't accomplished one damn thing.

Vincent if you are found guilty, be a man and learn from this - go forth and try being productive in life rather than living like a spineless weasel. For more on this story click here.
