What defines a celebrity in your eyes?

If I say celebrity, what do you first think of? OR shall I say WHO do you think of? In my opinion, a celebrity is someone that is in the public eye ( or ears ) in one form or another. Whether they are on the radio, or maybe they are from North Dakota and they became famous in Hollywood. Sometimes our favorite celebrity is close to our fingertips, other times miles away.
