A 36 year old man that led Burleigh County Sheriff Officers on a chase is still on the loose.

UPDATE 1/12 10:30AM: Burleigh County Officials say that Patrick Johnson was arrested West of Mandan on Jan. 11 without incident.

ORIGINAL STORY (from Jan. 9 at 1:18pm):

According to the Burleigh County Sheriff's Department, on Jan. 6 deputies went to 9205 Island Road for a welfare check.

A man, Patrick Johnson, who is 36 years old identified himself. Deputies learned that the man had outstanding warrants in Cass County due to a DUI, theft, and a failure to appear.

Johnson led police on a foot pursuit before eventually entering into a white 2013 Legacy Subaru. Johnson hit into one Deputy's vehicle and eventually into another Deputy who was trying to set up spike strips.

Once Johnson entered the city limits of Bismarck, the chase was terminated for safety concerns. He was last seen driving southbound on North Washington Street.

The 2013 Legacy Subaru was apparently not his vehicle. It has the license plate number 189 AOK.

Burleigh County Sheriff Deputies are asking the public's assistance in locating Johnson. Law enforcement released two pictures of the suspect, one with a mustache and one without. They are below.
