Annual Tribal Leaders Summit Leads into International Powwow

The 20th Annual Tribal Leaders Summit drew a large crowd for the opening ceremonies on Tuesday, September 6th as UTTC prepares for the International Powwow.

The Tribal Leaders Summit began on Tuesday, September 6th and will go through Thursday, September 7th leading into the 47th Annual International Powwow.

The 3-day Summit is filled with topics including:

Sovereignty
Education
Child Welfare
Law Enforcement and Justice

Of course, many in the area are familiar with the United Tribes Technical College International Powwow which takes place Friday, September 9th through Sunday, September 11th. The Powwow will take place at the Lone Star Arena located on the UTTC campus (3315 University Dr, Bismarck).
