It's not often you get a team as popular as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team to play in your tournament, yet that's what McQuade's managed to make happen in 2014.

Three years ago, David Van Sleet started the WWAST and the team's popularity has exploded, with appearances on ESPN, HBO, and countless other television and radio programs.

Before the team took the field in Bismarck, Van Sleet stopped by the 96-5 The Fox studios to spend some time talking about the team's origins, recruiting players, and his favorite memories from the past three years with the WWAST.

You can hear my full interview with Van Sleet above.
