The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a wind chill advisory for much of the listening area, beginning tonight, January 15th, at 10 p.m.

Here's the complete advisory, as issued by the National Weather Service:

...Dangerous wind chills as low as 40 below zero tonight and Saturday mainly north and east of the Missouri River...

..A wind chill advisory is in effect late this evening through Saturday afternoon at locations along and north of a line from Williston...to Garrison...to Bismarck...Napoleon and Ashley.

Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure exposed skin is cover.

Dangerous wind chills are expected to affect all of western and central North Dakota Saturday night. Stay tuned for updates regarding conditions later in the weekend.

Counties included in the advisory include Divide, Burke, Renville, Bottineau, Rolette, Williams, Mountrail, Ward, McHenry, Pierce, McLean, Sheridan, Wells, Foster, Burleigh, Kidder, Stutsman, Logan, La Moure, McIntosh, and Dickey.

The National Weather Service states that these dangerously low wind chills can cause frost bite in less than thirty minutes.
