Last week, Jack White announced that he would be taking a break from touring, but not before he played five final shows in the states he's never played before. One of those states just happens to be North Dakota.

According to InForum, White and his band, The White Stripes, were scheduled to perform in Fargo back in 2007, before the entire tour was scrapped. Outside of that scheduled show, which never happened, White has never performed in North Dakota, whether it be with The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Dead Weather, or as a solo act.

So far, White has announced three of the five stops on the tour. Monday, April 20th, he performed in Anchorage, AK. Wednesday, April 22nd, he was in Boise, ID. This morning, April 23rd, he announced two shows in Jackson, WY. That leaves only two states left: North and South Dakota.

[UPDATE 4/24] It was announced that White will perform in Rapid City, SD Friday night, meaning North Dakota will be the final stop on the tour.

So, where could Jack White perform in North Dakota? The obvious choice would be Fargo, as it is North Dakota's biggest city and The White Stripes were scheduled to play there back in 2007. Add to that the fact that Fargo has more venue possibilities, including The Fargo Theatre, and one would think that Fargo would be the safe bet.

Don't count out Bismarck or Grand Forks, though. Bismarck's Belle Mehus Auditorium would provide the intimate setting White has been performing in for this tour. The Chester Fritz Auditorium in Grand Forks could also be a possibility.

Ultimately, the only way any of us are going to know when and where White is performing in North Dakota is by checking his website, JackWhiteIII.com, at 8am each day and hope for an announcement. Tickets for each concert are only $3 a piece and are only available at the venue box office on a first-come, first-served basis.
