Which begs the question, where is the most expensive restaurant in North Dakota.

Fortunately for you and me, we will not have to travel very far, and in our case, a pricey steak at this place does equate into a delicious meal.

24/7 Wall St. used the criteria of creating an index that examined the average cost of an entrée and the most priciest entrée on thousands of menus from across the country to make up this list of the most expensive restaurant in every state.

From reading this list, the prices vary from state to state. Some states most expensive restaurant runs into the hundreds to where some range into the upper double digits.

For North Dakota, the most expensive restaurant in located in Bismarck and is 40 Steak & Seafood, where the most expensive item on the menu is Dry aged cowboy rib-eye, king cut. The average cost of an entrée is $28.46.

From personal experience, even though a bit pricey, there is not a better steak in Bismarck- Mandan. Well worth the price and a great destination of a special night out.
