Restaurant goers now have more choices than ever when it comes to beer. Domestic, import, craft...the possibilities are endless!

But, what beer are you most likely to find on tap in a certain state? The folks over at Priceonomics decided to find out.

Here's what they did. They used a website called BeerMenus.com, which just so happens to be one of the largest online tap list sites, to determine what beer is most likely to be on the menu in any given state.

Now, I know what you're thinking...'Well, that's pretty obvious. It's going to be Bud Light, Miller Lite, or some other really popular domestic. They're on tap everywhere!'

Not so fast, my friend. While that may be true, it's probably also true that places that serve domestics like Bud Light and Miller Lite aren't inclined to update their beer selection on a website like BeerMenus.com, according to Food and Wine. That would explain why those popular domestics aren't leading the way in every single state.

With that said, the beer most likely to be on tap in North Dakota is pretty surprising. One would think it'd be something brewed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or another nearby state, but it's actually Shiner Bock, which is brewed in Texas.

In neighboring states, though, the beer most likely to be on tap is a little less surprising, with South Dakota's being New Belgium Fat Tire and Minnesota's being Summit's EPA.
