Watch Thousands of Geese Depart North Dakota’s Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge [VIDEO]

Earlier this month, hundreds of thousands of snow and blue geese stopped by North Dakota's Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge on their way to the Arctic Circle.

Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge Complex posted the videos of the geese to their Facebook page on March 10th and 11th:

Once the videos were posted to Facebook, bird watchers took their cameras and headed to the refuge:

Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge is located in southeastern North Dakota, encompassing more than 8,000 acres of land. The refuge is home to waterfowl, shorebirds, wading birds, and songbirds.

There are also countless other varieties of animals living in the refuge, including muskrats, coyotes, deer, snakes, and turtles.
