They may have needed every single second of the game to pull it off, but the Minnesota Golden Gophers are headed to the NCAA Men's Hockey Championship after defeating UND 2-1 in Philadelphia.

The Gophers scored with .6 seconds left in the third period to secure the win and move on to take on Union College in the championship game this Saturday. You can see video of the goal above.

The two teams went scoreless through the first two periods. It wasn't until there was 9:09 left on the clock in the third period that the Gophers' Sam Warning opened the scoring with a goal. UND's Connor Gaarder responded seconds later with a goal of his own to tie the game.

Then, the unbelievable happened: Minnesota's Justin Holl put the puck in the back of the net with just .6 seconds left on the clock to give the Gophers a 2-1 win.

The Gophers will take on Union College Saturday night at 6:30pm on ESPN.
